  Freelance design experience at the heart of the .com boom! After graduating from Edith Cowan University I moved overseas and was lucky enough to freelance at some incredibly agencies in Boston, Massachusetts. I moved onto the UK, where I worked on an intranet at a big bank in the UK. My early experience in Perth while I was studying was in digital design for the research department at Paterson Ord Minnett Stockbroking in Perth.

Why senior experience matters for small business

Most small businesses can't afford a senior designer's full attention. They end up with a junior at an agency, or a freelancer who only does one part of the job well, and the result is usually a website that looks fine and works okay but doesn't really move the needle for the business.
